1) the library is one of my favorite places.
2) even though it sometimes smells funny.
3) i am the oldest of four.
4) i was born in China and raised in the northwest parts of the United States of America.
5) i've developed a love for dark chocolate that now overrides my previous love for the milkier kind.
6) my first concert was Qube 93 Summerjam, where Shai and Jade performed.
7) as a teen, i wanted to date every African-American male in sight.
8) i wrote my first "real" song (with verses and choruses) in late middle school, sang it to a friend over the phone, and was shocked when there was no response (she was crying).
9) i am good at keeping in touch with people in spurts.
10) people often categorize me as "sensitive".
11) and an over-thinker.
12) the only baked good i can make successfully sans box, is bread-pudding.
13) i took french in high school, and my vocab now consists of "voulez vous coucher avec moi, ce soir". not very useful for everyday conversation.
14) i speak fluent Chinese (at the level of a Chinese-middle-school-aged-person).

16) Lijie in Chinese means "beautiful and pure".
17) which could also mean "pretty clean".
18) at the risk of being labeled "uncool", i love reading/watching documentaries about Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, and Audrey Hepburn.
19) when i was a little girl, my parents took me to see "Aliens" in the theater, and i kept thinking our home vcr with its constant blinking green numbers, was out to get me in my sleep.
20) i absolutely DETEST slugs.
21) have yet to ride a horse or skydive...BUT IT WILL HAPPEN!
22) i am terrible at writing blogs because i sensor everything.
